All qualifiers will charge $65 to attend, payable to Playing At Learning and each will accept up to 16 teams per qualifier.
Just a heads up that teams will need to turn in new waivers at each tournament that they attend – sorry about this. But be prepared for this now.

Special-Case Registration for Fremont Scarifier on 10/31 Open Reg: 10/7-10/15
In order to benefit all of the new qualiifiers, we are going to run an early qualifier on 10/31 at DeVry University in Fremont that will be an official qualifier if we get at least 12 (max 16) teams to sign up and attend. We know that it is early. However, we need this early one to help the organizers. We will refund the registration fee if we don’t get at least 12 teams to sign up by the deadline and turn the event into a scrimmage. This qualifier is open to any registered FTC team in or out of the Nor Cal region.
There will be a Orange Box on the norcalftc.org site on 10/7 at 7pm that you will say, “Scarifier Registration”…. you will click it to sign up for the tournament and also be able to pay your tournament registration via paypal (preferable!).
First-Come-First-Chance Registration between 10/9 – 10/13
All Nor Cal teams will be able to register and choose 1 qualifier to attend.

Second Chance Registration – 10/14 – 10/20
Nor Cal teams will be offered the chance to register for a 2nd qualifier.

Open Registration – from 10/20 onwards…
Any registered FTC team will have the chance to register for any qualifier that has an opening.
This includes out of region teams as well.
If you can help find additional qualifier locations, please let us know. We would like at least one more qualifier in December and it would be most beneficial to be in the SF south bay. If any new qualifiers get added late, we will manage reg manually. Nor Cal teams that have not yet signed up for one or two tournaments will be given priority over other teams (in region or out of region).
Finally, there will be a separate email and article that will discuss advancement criteria for how additional lottery-based slots will be decided. The following is true:

- Captain teams of the Winning Alliance
- One host team (pre-identified)
