Below are the ranking order for potential advancement for the 2024-2025 Into The Deep season.

The table has been updated in accordance with our planned size for the NorCal FTC Regional Championship.  We are planning for 48 teams (with a slim chance of an increase to 56 depending on finding an appropriately sized venue). The advancement numbers in the table below represent the number of advancing from each tournament based on the number of teams competing.  If there are no-shows at the event, the number competing could change and potentially result in a reduction in the advancement from the event.

Teams in BOLD font are advancing. Teams with STRIKE THROUGH advanced either at an earlier qualifying tournament or higher in the advancement order.  Teams with an UNDERLINE are next in the advancement for a tournament.

There were 354 spaces at 19 advancing tournaments (qualifiers and league tournaments).  With 48 teams at our regional championship, the advancement ratio for each event works out to approximately 13.6%.  Each year, we look at multiple methods to deal with the fractional portion of the advancement from each event; rounding, truncating, etc.

This year, we are applying traditional rounding.

Rounding fills 46 of 48 spots at the NorCal FTC Regional Championship leaving 2 spaces to be assigned.    The remaining 2 spaces will be assigned via a random draw of the all of the tournaments.

Drawn tournaments will get one additional advancement based on the advancement order in the table below.
